CO-FOUNDER/ EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Nix has been an active member of the Cosplay community for over 10 years, ranging in her work from creating unique handmade cosplay commissions to working with entities such as Fortnite and Moreton Bay Libraries.

Nix is on a mission to create a great community space, to promote sustainability and rehoming cosplays and materials that would otherwise go on to contribute to environmental damage, as well as supporting and uplifting the charities she works with.

Meek has been attending conventions and cosplaying for over a decade in both NSW and QLD. Nowadays she mostly focuses on streaming and podcasting, but continues to attend conventions across the country due to her love of pop culture, gaming and meeting like-minded individuals.

Meek wants Cosplay Market to represent putting the community back into conventions, allowing people a space for friendship, sustainability, learning, crafting, and sharing and honing talents.

As someone who grew up around creatives authentically expressing themselves, Haylee is passionate about building community within the cosplay scene. Haylee has been performing at conventions for 7 years and counting, after completing their studies in technical production they strive to combine their skills and passion for the cosplay community into Cosplay Market.

Marshall has been apart of the cosplay community for 8 years and works in the live performance industry. Over the course of their time in the community they have consistently been inspired by the work of their fellow cosplayers. CM has allowed them to apply their technical production skills to create inviting and supportive spaces for the cosplay community to share and celebrate their work! Marshall hopes to continue creating performance spaces where they can cheer our community on from the ops desk!

Raine has been apart of the cosplay and creative community for many years, going to cons with friends and working in live theatre. While being apart of this community Raine has grown to love the encouraging nature of fellow crafters and wants to be apart of giving smaller cosplayers and creators a place to show off their skills.

Raine is passionate about using technology to create fun, entertaining spaces, bringing part of the theatre to your local market with the help of all the wonderful performers who volunteer their time at our events.

PERTH COORDINATOR

Kirilee Cosplay has been cosplaying over a decade and is a proud West Aussie. She has won numerous awards for her cosplay and  represented Australia in the World Cosplay Summit (Japan), Art to Play (France) and the Cosplay Central Crown Championships (USA).

Kirilee also runs a YouTube channel and is very passionate about making cosplay a more sustainable hobby. She is proud to be part of the Cosplay Market crew, representing the west!

ACTIVITY COORDINATOR

Kani has been quietly working on her cosplay and improving on her sewing skills away from the spotlight since 2017, Bringing characters to life such as, Suki from Avatar the Last Airbender and San from Princess Mononoke. Kani is a jack of all trades but feels the most confident in sewing and is always trying to improve as a self-taught seamstress.

Kani hopes she can foster an environment for everyone from beginners to experienced cosplayers, enabling a space for learning and teaching one another, not only skills and resources, but also in sustainability as well. She believes Cosplay Market can be a place to grow, learn and teach through positive involvement with the community

EkaiTaiga has been cosplaying for over a decade and has always wanted to work in events. Cosplay Market is the perfect combination of the two and through this they hope to make new connections and share their cosplay knowledge with the community whilst spreading the message of sustainability.

If you ever need help or tips, EkaiTaiga is sure to have some amazing advice! They hope you have fun with the activities provided and can't wait to work with all our amazing volunteers.

VENDOR COORDINATOR

Cosplaying since 2018 and creating art online since 2016, Félix has been trading at Artist alleys and markets since 2023 and has grown to love every aspect of vending, artists and cosplay.

Félix aims to create a welcoming space for new artists and merchants, smoothing the communication process between vendors, customers and organisers. By being apart of the Cosplay Market team he wants everyone to feel welcomed and have a place to support their community.

COSPLAY COORDINATOR

A veteran cosplayer, Carcali has been on the scene since 2012 and has watched the cosplay scene change and evolve over the years. Having previously worked as a professional seamstress, she has a deep knowledge for all things sewing and loves mastering new techniques and disciplines. After being a self-professed ‘professional lurker’, she has recently gotten a taste of what it’s like to help and guest at regional conventions and has enjoyed it immensely. Carcali wants to be able to build up her community by sharing her knowledge and experience with the next generation of cosplayers.
